oh man!!! Isn’t it always like that when you say something rarely if ever happens, it’s bound to happen straight away!! By the way, love that you’ve got tennis balls on the chair legs!! :)

Over three years we’ve had those beads and they’ve never been dumped!
The tennis balls are in the IKEA high chair – great for sliding but I do worry his older brothers may slide the baby duck a little too quickly one day :)

Wow. Okay, I’ve changed my mind. LEGO is okay (because the Little Man is diligent about keeping it in his room), but no beads. Ever. EVER.

Lol it was a gong show! 4 pm, trying to get dinner ready, beads all over the kitchen…it took an hour to clean the damn things up and involved a massive battle of wills . I have no idea where the monkey gets his stubborn from ;)

They are!!! We have a garland of all the ones the firefighter has completed in the basement and they’re so bright and cheerful. The monkey has been banned from touching then for a while though: I don’t think I could handle another bead rain fall

Jinxed…? (I’m not really superstitious.)

I don’t think I ever banned anything, but if I/you were to ask my children, they might remember it differently. I guess I will have to ask them :)

Weapons are on the banned list too although I don’t know why I bother sometimes since they can turn just about anything into a brother assault weapon.

My three year old did this with glass seed beads. And then after I vacuumed, a few days later, she took one and chewed it. Like “Crunch crunch” chewed. And swallowed.
Hello, ER!

Oh no!!! I am still waiting for our first foreign-object-in-orifice incident and broken bone (knocks furiously on wood)

Unreal…I do remember and love those things! And a garland of the finished product such a great idea!!

There was a stack of them on the counter for months and I hate throwing them out because he works so hard. I got a wire curtain rod from IKEA and they’re dangling from the clips on one of the walls in the play room :)

Yikes!! That just made me feel better about my day ;)

They are beastly to clean up. I will admit to vacuuming up the last 10% after 45 minutes of chasing minute beads around the kitchen with a broom while cursing under my breath and trying to deep breathe (instead of snort fire).

I’m a bit behind in my blog reading… but I HAD to comment here. This cracked me up…. and Oh, that glitter. I’m a teacher and parents come up to me and say “thanks a LOT for the glitter” . Hah!

I’m open minded about a lot of arts and crafts chaos but glitter is just a no go. It’s like the relative that just won’t up and leave no matter how many hints you drop when dinner is done ;)
